NCSA offers a range of training programs and workshops to build cybersecurity capacity across various sectors in the Maldives.

The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) conducted a Cybersecurity Tabletop Exercise (TTX) for the members of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The session simulated a realistic cyber incident with multiple escalation phases to assess the readiness and decision-making of participants. We thank the Chairperson and members of the ACC for their time and active participation. The ACC is the first independent government entity to conduct NCSA’s Cybersecurity TTX — a key step in strengthening national cyber resilience.

As part of Cyber Awareness Month in October 2025, the NCSA CEO and Director General conducted an engaging two-hour interactive training session for the staff of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The session also marked the first use of our learning platform’s training tournament feature, and the top three participants received small gifts in recognition of their performance. We thank ACC for arranging this important session.

As part of World Investor Week 2025, organized by the Capital Market Development Authority (CMDA) in partnership with the Maldives Pension Administration Office (MPAO), the CEO of the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) conducted a session on Scam and Fraud Prevention at Villa College. During this session, participants were introduced to the NCSA Learn platform, which features scam-proofing and cyber hygiene modules. The Scam Shield arcade game from NCSA Learn was played together with the audience to emphasize simulation-based training as a powerful tool for protecting against scams and fraud.

Highlighting its commitment to advancing research and development, NCSA unveiled "Article Insight," a new, internally developed tool designed to equip researchers with advanced AI capabilities in the fight against misinformation. At the "Exchange on Misinformation and Disinformation" seminar, Director General & CISO Mr. Mohamed Riznee demonstrated the cutting-edge tool, offering participants a firsthand opportunity to test its powerful analytical capabilities on news articles.

NCSA’s Director General & CISO, Mr. Mohamed Riznee, conducted an expert session at the “Exchange on Misinformation and Disinformation” seminar, jointly conducted by the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) and the US Embassy. The seminar, inaugurated by US Ambassador Hugo Yon, ran from 8 to 10 and featured expert exchanges on preventing misinformation and disinformation.

This intensive, six-hour training session was conducted by the CEO of NCSA for 28 senior officers from the Police, Customs, Corrections, and Immigration departments (the Home Team).
